Bosch Universal Plus with Blender Model MUM6N10UC

most adaptable stand mixer for your kitchen

The Universal Plus stand mixer from Bosch has a six and a half quart capacity. The attached blender and added accessories will make this mixer the one kitchen appliance that you can't do without.

Bosch Universal Plus with Blender Model MUM6N10UC has everything you'll need to mix up a great dinner or something sweet.

The Bosch Universal Plus comes with a blender so this makes the stand mixer quite versatile. The 6 1/2 quart bowl is large enough for mixing up to 15 pounds of dough, but the action of the mixing paddles is so good that a single egg will be whipped to perfection. There are four speed settings and a momentary switch for pulsing the mixer.

Even though it's a larger mixer than the Bosch white stand mixer 4 quart, the Universal Plus has suction feet for a secure standing. When you're mixing even the heaviest of doughs, the machine won't walk across the counter. The suction feet will make it stay put.

Cleaning this mixer is no problem. The bowl is easy to handle with its rim at the top. The drive shaft is removable and easy to clean under running water. The whisk holder is even dishwasher safe.

Bosch quality stands behind the universal mixer with a 3-year limited warranty and higher than average lifetime for a stand mixer.

Erin E. Mehler loves this machine, even more than her old KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer, and here's what she has to say about the Bosch Universal Plus with Blender Model MUM6N10UC...

I just sold my kitchenaid and purchased this machine a few weeks ago. I love it so far. A few things I love are the suction cups on the bottom so that the machine stays in place as it works on bigger batches. I recommend you store it on it's side, (there are rubber pads on the side to store it this way.) It seems like if you store it flat the suction cups will wear out faster. It is a more compact design than before, which is nice, but I am hoping it will hold up like other models have. A lot of people complain that there are a lot of pieces to clean, I don't mind the cleaning aspect, but virtually everything is dishwasher safe if that's an issue for you. (I always hand wash mine because I think it holds up better.) It's a larger capacity mixer and does a better job with my doughs than any other mixer I've used.

If the Universal Plus is too expensive, take a look at the smaller Bosch white stand mixer 4 quart.
