Bosch White Stand Mixer 4 Quart
best little stand mixer and home appliance
The small white stand mixer from Bosch has a four quart capacity that will make your holiday baking easy as pie!
Start small with the 4 Quart Bosch Home Appliance White Stand Mixer.
This little stand mixer is more than a mixer so the Bosch company calls it a home appliance. Its main benefit is its size. The 4 Qt. mixer is lightweight, about 10 pounds slimmer than larger models, like the KitchenAid Artisan Stand Mixer. Sure the KitchenAid mixers are bigger, but they also cost about a $100 more.
The Bosch 4 quart mixer, Model MUM4405, has plastic housing that makes clean up a snap. It's dimensions are 13 inches deep x 11 inches wide x 10 1/2 inches tall, so it has a small footprint and takes up little counterspace.
Of course the little Bosch mixer comes with everything you need, including three different mixing paddles: dough hook, stirring whisk, beating whisk. Mixing is done in an elliptical motion which ensures that everything in the mixing bowl will be mixed. No more scraping the sides of the bowl to incorporate all the ingredients. The paddles lock out of your way in a park position when you're done.
A full range of accessories are available for the little Bosch mixer.
As an avid user of the Bosch stand mixer, J. Adamo says...
I researched stand mixers in 2008 when my old Sunbeam finally gave out. I didn't want the very large Kitchenaid models taking up space on my countertop. When I found the Bosch compact model, I was very excited, and ordered it. I used it several times, and let my mother know how well it worked, and how easy it was to use. She liked it so well, I gave her mine, and ordered another one for me. Clean up is easy, stores easily in a drawer or on the counter. Mixes heavy bread dough like a dream.
The most important thing is that Amazon has the small Bosch stand mixer on sale right now. 26% off is a great way to trim your holiday shopping budget. Check it out: Bosch Home Appliance White Stand Mixer 4 Qt.
K. DeMoure is a long-time baker and recommends the Bosch stand mixer:
I've had a bosch since 1990, and I've yet to find an appliance to compare. I would love to upgrade to the larger model. I had a Kitchen Aid Pro in my business and had to send it back to the company three times in two years. I never want to own another Kitchen Aid. I highly recommend this product for everyday baking, and if you do large volumns of bread, I would recommend the larger one. This model says it will do three loaves, and I have done 3, but two work out perfectly. It makes the best homemade bread I've ever tasted.
